How To Divide Protective Film?

- Aug 30, 2018-

Protective film, which can be divided according to different standards or different angles? And, what is the surface treatment of the substrate film in the protective film? These are all about the protective film, so below, we will give specific answers, so that everyone can understand clearly through the study, and have a thorough understanding.

      1. Classification of protective film

The protective film, if it is divided by nature, is either a rubberized film or a self-adhesive film.

Coating film: On the adhesive, there are mainly four types of solvent-based rubber adhesives, solvent-based acrylic adhesives, aqueous acrylic adhesives, and silicone adhesives. Among these four, aqueous acrylic adhesives are the most used.

Self-adhesive: It is produced by coextrusion, and on the self-adhesive layer, EVA, ultra-low density polyethylene or polyolefin plastomer resin can be used as the main material. Because these materials have some advantages, they can be used very well.

       2. Surface treatment of the substrate film in the protective film

In the protective film, the substrate film thereof needs to be subjected to some surface treatment in order to facilitate its overall use. Generally speaking, there are mainly two treatments, one is corona treatment, to form a polar reactive group, thereby forming a very fine pit. Second, the liquid glue is evenly coated on the substrate film and preliminarily dried.
