We often see stainless steel with corrosion resistance attached to the protective film. Why do strong stainless steels also need a protective film?
Once stainless steel are not protected by a protective film during production, processing, transportation, storage and use. it will be difficult to sell If it is contaminated, corroded or scratched,. After all, no one wants to buy a defect goods. So most stainless steel manufacturers will still put a protective film to ensure the bright and new of the surface.
The characteristics of the stainless steel protective film: a special polyethylene (PE) plastic film as a substrate, acrylic pressure- sensitive adhesive as an glue, and then processed through several special additives. It is soft in nature, good in adhesion, easy to stick, easy to peel off, and free from residue. The biggest advantage is that the protected product can maintain the original smooth and shiny surface.
